Thoreau's View of Technology

Thoreau views technology as a pollution to earth. A lot of technology does disturb nature and pollute, but it has become very important to everyone's lives. Technology is becoming better and more efficient to reduce pollution. I use my cell phone and plenty of other technologies everyday. I wouldn't be able to go with out technology for a day unless I was away from the city and I was in the wild.
