Tough Decision

One time four of my friends and I were crossing the street (J-walking) and a cop sped by with it's lights on and stopped. I was already across the street with one of my friends and and my two other friends were on the other side. The cop got out of the car and had my two friends sit down. My friend on my side didn't want to go back and maybe get a ticket. We were both under 18 and it was passed curfew. We decided to run away back to my house. Right when we were across the street from my house a cop sped by and pulled us over. We had to get in the back and he took us back to the other cop. Our friends were already gone and we had to apologize and wait in the back of the car until they let us go. I never thought it was a good idea to run from the cop. It was stupid because we didn't do anything wrong in the first place.
